Cafe Søvilla

Cafe Søvilla is located in the beautiful red wooden building in the park at the Silkeborg Bad Art Center.

Here you can buy delicious sandwiches, coffee and cake, organic drinks and Okkels Ice Cream.

Opening hours: Saturday-Sunday + public holidays 12.00-16.00

Søvilla originally housed rooms for spa guests who visited Silkeborg Bad. The building was designed by architect Vilhelm Dahlerup, who was also the man behind, among other things, the Royal Danish Theatre, the Glyptoteket, the Danish National Gallery, Hotel d'Angleterre and the Pantomime Theatre in Tivoli.

NB: Café Søvilla is a “drop-in” café, so you cannot reserve a table in advance.
